So if we are going to work together, I think it’s important that I share with you a little bit about me.

How did I become a Counselling Therapist?

After a career in business and years as a stay-at- home mom, my life took a major turn when my relationship started to falter. I was struggling with all the related emotions. Seeking the help of a therapist was the best decision I could have made. Through counselling, I was able to release an incredible amount of emotions that I discovered I had been carrying for a long time.
Free from the weight of these emotions, I gained new perspectives in all areas of my life. From this new vantage point, I was able to create much healthier relationships with myself and others.

Inspired by a new mission to be of service, I went back to school to train as a Counselling Therapist, so that I, in turn, could assist those going through challenging emotional experiences. I graduated from Transformational Arts College in 2011 with the designation of R.I.H.R. (Registered in Human Relations) from the Canadian Examining Board of Health Care Practitioners.

We see the world through our own experiences and at times, it can be difficult to see clearly through the glasses of our personal perception. Or we may not even know where to look for solutions. I believe that the solution to our troubles can be found within us, it’s a matter of being open to the possibility, ready for discovery.

I consider it a great honour to guide others on their personal journey into self-awareness, growth and healthier relationships.
